About the Workshop: River Music's Songwritring Workshop is designed to immerse participants in the worship songwriting community. It will provide writers and the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and hone their craft through both mentorship and collaboration. Here you'll be taught the basics of songs forms, melodic phrasing and a composition. In addition, all 30 participants will be able to participate in writing 1-2 songs for River Music's upcoming New England Zion Worshiper's Conference for the Saturday night live recording. They will also be added as official songwriters of the song(s) and part of the demo creation to be used for the official production of the song(s). There is a $20 fee to participate and attendees must be present in the entire session.
